A 5 bedroom vacation home directly on the lake shore. Upper level: Large living room with picture window overlooking the lake features a wood burning Lannon Stone fireplace, separate dining area directly off fully furnished kitchen, full bath with tub/shower, 3 bedrooms incorporating 1 queen sized bed and 4 twin sized beds.

The lower level includes a sitting room, full bath with tub/shower, 2 bedrooms incorporating 2 queen sized beds and 1 twin sized bed, and a storage / drying room for snowmobile gear, skis, fishing equipment, etc.

A private campfire pit sits just midway to the lake for those cozy evening times with family and friends.

The Tamarack has 2 TVs and a DVD player. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, a refrigerator, a microwave, a coffee maker and toaster. A clothes washer & dryer are also available in the basement.

  This was our first year staying in the Tamarack cabin. Unfortunately, the cabin is in desperate need of repair and a good cleaning. Between cobwebs, the musty smell, furniture that is falling apart and mice running around inside the cabin, by the end of the week everyone was ready to go home. Our family was disappointed as this is something special we get to do together every year. I would not recommend renting the Tamarack cabin until it is repaired or updated.

    Alise, We are so sorry you had to experience the cabin like this. I want ti inform you, Tamarack has new owners and they are closing down September/October to make some repairs and do minor home improvements to make the cabin better suit our guests.   We have been coming to Estrold and stayed in the Tamarak for many years and have loved this resort. The only thing I wish they could update are the beds as they are so very uncomfortable and the walkway down to the pier is so dangerous especially at the bottom. Would like to see a railing for us older people
